Top 2021 in Lunch Packing All Wrapped Up

Teuko.com is the online community for parents who pack lunch for their children. Our mission at Teuko is to help families get easy, healthy, and fun lunchbox ideas, recipes, and tips, all in one place. When it comes to our year in lunch packing, we’re excited to let you see how unique and great we made it in 2021!

This year, 50% of the lunchbox ideas that were shared on Teuko in 2021 came from North America, with almost 30% from the United States of America and a bit more than 20% coming from Canada. This year, we noticed that our European friends, especially from Belgium, Cyprus, and the United Kingdom, were sharing more, especially when some other parts of the world suffered from lockdowns (thus kids not going to school, and parents not packing lunches). And we noted that two places from Asia, Japan, and the Philippines, were also willing to join our lunchbox fun this year!

The peak of fun we all had together was in Spring and for Halloween, the two top themes in 2021. You’ll discover further explanation in the Top Foods section why “Rainbow Color” is having a third place in this ranking for the Top Themes 2021. And no doubt that the themes “Animals” and “Cartoons” are in the top 5… since we all want to bring smiles when our children open their lunchboxes at lunchtime!

Overall, in 2021, we packed… lots of fresh nutritious foods in our children’s lunch boxes! As our further mission at Teuko is to help prevent diet-related diseases and obesity, one lunchbox at a time, we are so proud and happy! Woohoo! Congrats to all of our Teuko Friends!

When having a look at the foods that were tagged this year, we’ve seen indeed, this ranking:
