When the Teuko Lunchbox Community was invited to try a surprise box from Trifecta, we said yes without hesitation. At Teuko, we’re all about making lunch packing easier, healthier… and fun! So what happens when a box full of clean proteins and smart shortcuts arrives at our door?
Our co-founder Jessica tested Trifecta’s prepared proteins and snacks over a week of real-life lunches for two busy teens, plus weekend brunches with the whole family. This is our honest (and delicious) review. 🍱

📦 First Impressions: Trifecta Meal Prep Delivery
We received items from the Trifecta’s Meal Prep Plan, featuring fully cooked portions of beef, salmon, chicken, pulled pork, egg bites, brownies, and even cilantro lime jasmine rice.
The box arrived fresh, cold, and well-packed, even after sitting on the doorstep for a few hours. Their eco-friendly packaging system (ClimaCell®, made in the USA) made a great first impression. Everything was labeled clearly and stored safely in the fridge for use throughout the week.

🍳 Saturday Brunch: Egg Bites & Brownies
We kicked things off with the Sous Vide Egg Bites – fully cooked and ready after a quick 10-minute reheat in the oven. The texture was fluffy and just the right amount of savory. These were a hit across all ages.
For dessert, we split Trifecta’s High-Protein Brownies, which felt more like fudgy chocolate fondants. So rich, we halved them and paired each with strawberries or pears. Yum!

🐟 Sunday: Salmon + Spinach Lunch
The Fully-Cooked Grilled Salmon (processed in Europe) was a time-saver, but personally, we prefer fresher fish. Still, with organic baby spinach and soba noodles, it made a nutritious lunch in under 15 minutes.

🍝 Monday: Pesto Chicken Pasta + Brownie Surprise
Trifecta’s Grilled Chicken Breast was perfect for lunchboxes. Clean ingredients, no antibiotics, and great flavor. We tossed it with penne pasta and pesto, and added the last half of a brownie with strawberries. Quick, gourmet, and kids-approved!

🌮 Tuesday: Taco Box with Grass-Fed Beef
Their Grass-Fed Beef Steaks are fully cooked and ready to slice, perfect for Taco Tuesday! We wrapped the beef with bell peppers, cilantro lime rice, and homemade guacamole, all assembled in minutes!

Homemade burritos packed with flavorful cilantro lime rice, tender beef, sautéed bell peppers, and creamy guacamole, secured with adorable graduation hat food picks to keep everything together. Paired with vanilla yogurt and a juicy Cara orange, this makes a nutritious and fun school lunch by Teuko.
🍽️ Midweek Warmers: Comfort Foods Reinvented
- Wednesday: Diced chicken with homemade sweet potato purée and green beans (plus fruit salad & rice pudding).
- Thursday: Beef over creamy parmesan polenta with Provençal veggies and diced melon – a celebration lunch!
- Friday: Pulled pork sliders with brioche buns, finger foods (radishes, carrots, tomatoes), and a festive donut for a graduation-themed bento.
